About WebLife Labs

WebLife Labs is the innovation arm of WebLife Stores LLC, a leading eCommerce management and operations company founded in 2008. With over $250 million in lifetime revenue and 16+ years as one of the largest mailbox distributors in the U.S., we've built a foundation that works. Now we're expanding that foundation into EdTech, SaaS, and HR & Recruitment—building a portfolio of ventures that matter.

Our mission is simple: transform potential into performance. We combine the stability of proven eCommerce operations with the energy of an innovation hub. If you want to build systems that scale, work with executives who value your expertise, and operate in an environment where AI and automation are tools (not buzzwords), keep reading.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Finance Manager to own financial operations across our U.S.-based portfolio. This isn’t a maintenance role—you’ll build the financial systems and processes that help multiple ventures scale, while partnering directly with leadership on high-impact decisions.

The Scope:
Multiple U.S. entities with significant revenue and high transaction volumes. You’ll manage consolidation, reporting, compliance, and core finance operations to keep each venture running smoothly.

The Team:
You’ll lead a small finance team and work closely with our CEO and venture leaders. This is a high-trust role where your ability to execute and make sound decisions matters from day one.

The Reality:
You’ll need to ramp quickly—but you’ll have access to leadership, clear documentation, and a team ready to support you.
For the right person, this role offers a clear pathway to grow into a Financial Controller as the portfolio expands.

What You’ll Own

  • Financial Operations Leadership: Own full-cycle accounting and financial operations across a portfolio of U.S. ventures, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

  • Systems & Reporting Implementation: Design and implement financial systems and reporting frameworks for portfolio-level consolidation using tools like Xero and Zoho.

  • Strategic Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and ROI analysis to drive strategic decisions across ventures.

  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Optimise cash flow, cost structures, and working capital while overseeing AR, AP, and treasury functions.

  • Month-End Close Management: Execute streamlined month-end closing processes and produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; implement SOPs including revenue recognition.

  • Internal Controls & Risk Management: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to ensure accurate reporting and mitigate financial risks.

  • Compliance & Tax Expertise: Ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, manage multi-state sales tax, understand Sales vs Use Tax for remote sellers, and coordinate audit preparation.

  • Automation & Innovation: Drive automation and AI-enabled tools for reporting, reconciliation, and workflow efficiency.

  • Multi-Entity Consolidation: Manage consolidated reporting for multiple U.S. companies with $10M+ revenue and high transaction volumes.

  • Strategic Partnership: Work with executive leadership on strategic financial planning, decision-making, and growth initiatives.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
