About the Role
The Email Campaign Specialist is a key member of the Marketing Department, responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue. This role ensures email communications are seamlessly integrated into multi-channel campaigns that align with customer journeys and sales objectives. By combining creative and technical expertise with data-driven strategies, the Email Campaign Specialist delivers impactful email campaigns that contribute to WebLife's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Build, schedule, and execute email campaigns using platforms like Klaviyo and CRM systems, including writing persuasive copy (subject lines, body content, CTAs) and designing visually compelling emails
- Test campaigns for accuracy, functionality, and responsiveness across devices and email platforms
- Leverage customer data to create targeted audience segments for personalized messaging, collaborating with the CRM team and Email Marketing Lead to refine segmentation strategies aligned with customer journeys
- Monitor and analyze email campaign metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion rates, revenue per email) and conduct A/B testing on subject lines, designs, and CTAs to optimize effectiveness
- Assist in the creation and management of automated lifecycle workflows, such as welcome series, cart abandonment, and re-engagement campaigns, ensuring regular updates based on customer behavior and business priorities
- Ensure lifecycle campaigns are updated regularly to reflect customer behavior, business priorities, and sales alignment
- Execute and optimise email campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, conversion, and revenue
- Provide guidance and quality oversight to the Junior Email Campaign Specialist, ensuring consistency, best practices, and high-quality campaign execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Junior Email Campaign Specialist, Email Marketing Lead, Sales Department, and horizontal teams (Design, Copywriting, Business Intelligence) to maintain consistency and deliver cohesive campaigns
- Ensure email campaigns comply with regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, data privacy standards) and maintain clean email lists following data hygiene best practices to maximize deliverability and engagement
Requirements:
- Proven proficiency in email marketing platforms like Klaviyo or similar tools, with a strong grasp of best practices for email design, automation, and personalization
- Demonstrated ability to create end-to-end email content, including compelling copywriting and visually engaging layouts that align with brand standards and campaign goals
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics, refine strategies, and use data-driven insights to drive improvements
- High attention to detail to maintain accuracy and consistency in email content, segmentation, and campaign execution
- Basic knowledge of email coding (HTML) and testing tools for compatibility across platforms and devices; experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) is a valuable plus
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Operations, and horizontal teams to ensure cohesive communication strategies
