About the Role
We are seeking a Content Operations Specialist to manage and optimize AI-driven content production workflows across our 8-brand e-commerce portfolio. This role requires someone who can systematically move content through production pipelines while applying critical editorial judgment to ensure brand voice authenticity, conversion optimization, and content quality. You’ll be responsible for managing content operations at scale, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and serving as the quality control gateway between AI-generated content and published website copy.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end content production pipelines using AI tools, automation workflows, and systematic quality control processes across 8 e-commerce brands.
- Serve as editorial gatekeeper for AI-generated content, applying critical judgment to ensure brand voice authenticity, conversion effectiveness, and messaging quality.
- Coordinate content workflows with Technical SEO specialists, Site Content Managers, Designers, and Catalog teams to ensure seamless pipeline execution.
- Execute content brief workflows systematically, transforming specifications into production-ready content through AI-enhanced processes.
- Optimize and iterate on content templates, quality control checkpoints, and production workflows for maximum efficiency and output quality.
- Monitor content pipeline performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements to increase throughput and consistency.
- Ensure AI-assisted content reads as natural, human-quality copy that aligns with brand voice, authenticity, and platform guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish content production standards, quality metrics, and workflow protocols that scale across multiple brands.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field with 3+ years of content operations or digital workflow management experience.
- Proven experience managing content production at scale, preferably across multiple brands or clients with US/UK/Australian market focus.
- Advanced proficiency with AI content generation tools (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM, Perplexity), with the ability to generate content using LLMs and refine content using tools such as Grammarly, Yoast, or similar to ensure quality, efficiency, SEO, and brand alignment.
- Strong editorial judgment with ability to identify when AI-generated content lacks natural flow, conversion effectiveness, or brand authenticity.
- Experience with content operations systems, workflow automation tools, and systematic quality control processes in fast-paced digital environments.
- Understanding of conversion copywriting principles and e-commerce content requirements including product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional content.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects with cross-functional teams including technical specialists, creative teams, and content managers.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking workflow metrics, identifying process improvements, and implementing systematic optimizations.
- Advanced-level proficiency with AI content platforms, prompt engineering, and workflow automation tools for content production.
- Experience with content management systems, workflow coordination tools, and project management platforms.
- Understanding of content performance metrics, quality control systems, and process optimization methodologies.
- Familiarity with basic SEO principles as they relate to content operations and workflow coordination.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools for tracking content pipeline performance and identifying optimization opportunities.
