About Us
For over 16 years, WebLife has been a category leader in e-commerce, operating high-performing brands and building large-scale distribution networks in specialized verticals. Our success has come from disciplined operations, data-driven decision-making, AI automation, agentic workflows, and teams that execute in fast-moving, real-world environments.
Today, we are extending that operational foundation into a new territory: helping small and mid-sized businesses reliably deploy and operate AI agents in production. Rather than treating AI as experimentation, we focus on turning real workflows into dependable systems that deliver measurable outcomes.
Backed by WebLife’s long-term stability and operational maturity, we operate with the speed and ownership mindset of a product-first startup—tight feedback loops, high accountability, and an expectation that every hire meaningfully influences strategy, execution, and how our platform evolves over time.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain production-grade automation and AI-enabled workflows that support real business operations. This is a hands-on execution role focused on translating messy processes into reliable, well-documented systems using automation platforms, APIs, and applied AI.
You will work within a standardized delivery stack, collaborating with stakeholders, engineers, and leadership to ship automations that are scalable, observable, and used in day-to-day operations.
Automation & AI Workflow Delivery
- Design, build, and maintain automations that connect core SaaS tools across marketing, sales, operations, finance, and customer experience.
- Embed AI and LLM capabilities into workflows for tasks such as classification, routing, enrichment, and summarization.
- Implement integrations using platforms like n8n, Make, Zapier, supported by lightweight Python services where needed.
Quality, Reliability & Documentation
- Monitor, debug, and improve existing automations with logging, alerting, and failure-handling in place.
- Ensure workflows are production-safe, secure, and maintainable.
- Document automations clearly (SOPs, diagrams, walkthroughs) to support reuse and handoff.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work directly with stakeholders to map ambiguous processes into structured workflows.
- Operate in embedded client contexts while coordinating with internal teams and engineering standards.
- Build within shared patterns and contribute improvements back to standardized templates and conventions.
What You Bring
Required Experience
- Hands-on experience with at least one automation/workflow platform (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar).
- Proficiency in Python and experience working with APIs, webhooks, and JSON-based integrations.
- A track record of shipping automations that are actively used by teams or clients.
- Practical experience using LLMs as engineering tools within workflows (not research-focused).
- Strong ability to translate unclear business processes into structured logic.
- Clear communication skills and comfort working with non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a hybrid context across internal teams and client environments.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with agent or AI orchestration tools and retrieval-based systems.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and basic software engineering practices.
- Experience delivering automation or AI systems across multiple projects or international clients.
